In Puerto Ayora you will find better prices than in the mainland, but you could be delayed with a long wait. In the high season (July, August and mid-December to mid-January) space is not available on a last minute basis, at these times of the year you should purchase your cruise before arriving to Galapagos and avoid further inconveniences.
