|Telecommunications.- Local and international calls are available through the Andinatel offices on Av. 10 de Agosto and Colón. Also, on Benalcazar between Chile and Mejia (in the old city). Post Office.- There are several postal branches throughout the
city, they usually open Monday to Friday from 08:00 till 18:00, on Saturdays 08:00-14:00. The best branch is on Japón between Naciones Unidas and Amazonas (behind the CCI mall). Another branch is in the old city (Espejo, between Guayaquil and Venezuela).
Internet.- Quito as many other big cities in the country has several Internet cafés, you'll find them everywhere especially in the big malls. We're mentioning just a few below, the average rates start at around US$1 per hour. Most Internet cafes offer net2phone and Dialpad for around US$0.20 per minute. See also our communications section.
